Young travellers

Children aged 16 and under travel free of charge on the CDG Express when accompanied by an adult, provided they have their “Free – Under 16” ticket.
To ensure your child’s journey, an accompanying adult holding a valid paid ticket for the same day must be present throughout the journey.

Travel light

On board, there are no restrictions and no luggage limits. Oversized suitcases and bags can be stored in the lockers provided: there’s a place for every piece of luggage. Find yours.

Our staff are on hand at the ticket validators at the platform entrance to assist passengers as they board. Please don’t hesitate to ask our staff for help with boarding, stowing your bulky luggage or finding a place for your belongings on the train.

Attention to detail

Each train has well-maintained toilets, fittedwith an automatic sliding door whose unlocking is indicated by an audible and visual signal. Inside, a washbasin, soap dispenser, hand dryer, waste bin and handrails are available for your comfort and safety. An emergency call button is provided.

Designed with all passengers and families in mind, the toilets are fitted with a fold-down changing table, with an opening and closing mechanism suitable for wheelchair users. A clean, simple and accessible space for a peaceful break on board.

If I have a question or a problem during my journey, who can I contact?

A conductor is on board every train for the 20-minute journey.

A train manager is on board every train, available from the moment you board to help you stow your belongings and answer any questions you may have throughout the journey. Reception staff are also on hand at Gare de l’Est and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, from the first to the last train departure, every day.

Is the CDG Express accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, passengers with reduced mobility can move around stations and travel on the CDG Express using the dedicated PRM areas.

Each train carriage features a built-in ramp for independent, level access. Each carriage is equipped with spaces for passengers with reduced mobility, including a 1.5-metre turning area, emergency buttons and accessible toilets. A free assistance service is available at the station; this can be booked up to 24 hours before departure via the online booking form. Please see our "Travelling with a disability" page.

I have a lot of luggage – can I travel on the CDG Express?

Yes. There is no baggage allowance on board.

Each train carriage has ample luggage space overhead and along the sides, which is visible from the seats. Lockers fitted with straps are available for bulky items (bicycles, pushchairs, sports equipment, etc.). Visit our "My Luggage" page to plan your journey with complete peace of mind.
